What’s our Story? That’s an easy answer. Soggy sandwiches. About 6 years ago, prior to moving down here, we took a trip from Chicago to the Gulf Coast. After loading up the luggage, we realized we didn’t have much room for our beach gear. We also knew that bringing a cooler was a must! We puzzle pieced our cheapo cooler in with our luggage and we finally hit the road. 15 hours and a few bathroom breaks later we arrived at the coast. First stop? The local store to purchase everything we had to leave up north that wouldn’t fit in our car. Who knew a grocery store could be so expensive? OUCH!!! If you know, you know. Food, drinks, ice, beach chairs, beach bag, beach games and an empty wallet. Now it was time to head to the beach.

Wow was it hot! Just what we came for. Sun and saltwater! 3 hours later it was finally time to eat. I reach into the cheapo cooler and find my sandwich floating. WHAT?!?!? How is this possible? How does ice melt so quickly? One answer… The Florida Sun. My first bite into the soggy sandwich, I promised myself I’d never make that mistake again. In that moment, a dream began.
